At this engaging creative mosaic art lamp experiential workshop held at Mosaic Art Studio, participants learnt about cultural (Turkey) and sensory (visual) DIVERSITY. 

Participants discovered Turkish culture and worked on an Art in the Dark task together. The focus of the workshop was UNIVERSAL DESIGN - where participants all made the same glass globe and could choose different mounting settings for the lamp. This concept can also be adapted to our daily student advising - while curriclum is the same for all students, the advising provided can be modified to suit the student needs and situation at hand. 

This DIY experiential learning workshop allows colleagues to enhance their teamwork, communication, and also foster stronger bonds between staff to cooperatively support students. We hope all participants found the workshop useful.
