The UG Programs Office offers the credit-bearing Social Enterprise Internship Program (SBMT 2200) during the Winter and Summer terms. This program is designed to enhance students' awareness of community service and social entrepreneurship while providing them the opportunity to apply their skills to real-world challenges faced by NGOs and social enterprises. Eligible participants in SBMT 2200 may also apply for the Public Service Internship Scholarship (PSIS), sponsored by the Dr. Karen Lee Memorial Fund. The scholarship aims to encourage business students to engage in internships at NGOs or social enterprises and to recognize those who demonstrate exceptional performance, as nominated by their employers.

We are pleased to announce the eight new awardees who received the PSIS for their outstanding contributions during the last Winter term. These individuals exhibited exemplary performance during their internships at various NGOs and social enterprises. Each recipient will receive HK$10,000 in recognition of their achievements:

In addition, a new group of business undergraduates is currently participating as summer interns in the SBMT 2200 Social Enterprise Internship Program until the end of August 2026. We anticipate that they will gain valuable work experience and have the opportunity to earn the PSIS based on their exceptional internship performance.
