Take Faculty to Lunch - Fall 2025
The Take Faculty to Lunch program was successfully held in Fall 2025! Faculty and students can have a casual opportunity to interact with each other and enjoy lunch or tea/coffee sponsored by the Center. In the Fall 2025 semester, 62 gatherings were organized with 41 Faculty and 119 students.
UG Get-Together - Happy Halloween
A Halloween-themed UG Get-Together was successfully held at the Karen Lee Student Mentoring Center with over 300 staff and students participating to celebrate Halloween together.
HKUST SBM Advisors visits HKUST (GZ) campus
On October 14, 2025, undergraduate student advisors from HKUST Business School visited the HKUST (GZ) campus. The visit included an exchange of discussions with faculty, functional teams, lunch, and a campus tour.
UG Get-Together - Welcome Back to School!
The first UG Get-Together was successfully held on September 18, 2025 at the Karen Lee Student Mentoring Center.
Peer Mentoring Program Training Day 2025-26
The Peer Mentoring Program (PMP) Kick-off and Training Session was successfully held on August 23, 2025! Over 130 peer mentors participated in the event. The event was facilitated effectively by the trainers from the Scout Association of Hong Kong.

The Take Faculty to Lunch program was successfully held in Spring 2025! Faculty and students can have a casual opportunity to interact with each other and enjoy lunch or tea/coffee sponsored by the Center. In the Spring 2025 semester, 52 gatherings were organized with 34 Faculty and 108 students.
Faculty and Staff Training - NEON CONNECTIONS
More than 30 SBM staff attended an exciting NEON CONNECTIONS - Sparking Collaboration & Creativity workshop on May 19, 2025, that not only sparked creativity, but also strengthened our bonds as colleagues. At the workshop sponsored by the Karen Lee Center, participants engaged in a hands-on experience, learning how to design and create their own neon light art pieces.

On May 8, 2025, A fun-filling UG Get-Together organized by the dedicated Peer Mentoring Committee was successfully held to provide a relaxing and enjoyable break for staff and students before the exam period.

The first UG Get-Together in Spring 2025 was successfully held on Feb 12, 2025 at the Karen Lee Student Mentoring Center to celebrate the Lantern Festival and Valentine's Day.
Faculty and Staff Training: TEAM & TUFT - Weaving Stronger Connections!!
On Dec 17, 2024, the Karen Lee Center hosted a TEAM & TUFT team-building Tufting Workshop for faculty, advisors, and students. After a briefing from the experts at Chill Tuft, the group began tufting their rugs featuring a wide variety of designs. A great time was had by all and a relaxing and festive way to end the Fall term!

A Recipe for Team-Building - Cooking, Communicating, Connecting Workshop
The faculty and staff training workshop for spring 2024, titled "A Recipe for Team-Building: Cooking, Communicating, and Connecting," took place on May 16, 2024, at the Towngas Cooking Centre. The event saw over 30 participants showcase their cooking skills and engage in a thrilling cooking competition that fostered teamwork among faculty and staff.
