Peer Mentoring Program Training - Aug 24, 2024
The Peer Mentoring Program (PMP) Kick-off and Training Session was held on August 24, 2024 with a huge success! Over 100 peer mentors participated the event. The event was facilitated effectively by 18 trainers from the Scout Association of Hong Kong.

A Recipe for Team-Building - Cooking, Communicating, Connecting Workshop
The faculty and staff training workshop for spring 2024, titled "A Recipe for Team-Building: Cooking, Communicating, and Connecting," took place on May 16, 2024, at the Towngas Cooking Centre. The event saw over 30 participants showcase their cooking skills and engage in a thrilling cooking competition that fostered teamwork among faculty and staff.
UG Get-Together - Cheers for Exams
On May 8, 2024, the last UG Get-Together in academic year 23-24 became an exam cheering station for students at the Karen Lee Center and it was held with a huge success.
Take Faculty to Lunch - Spring 2024
The Take Faculty to Lunch program was successfully held in Spring 2024! Faculty and students can have a casual opportunity to interact with each other and enjoy lunch or tea/coffee sponsored by the Center.
In the Spring 2024 semester, 40 gatherings were organized with 31 Faculty and 89 students.
UG Get-Together - Happy Easter
On Mar 26, 2024, the 2nd UG Get-Together in Spring 2024 was successfully held at the Karen Lee Center. More than 150 students participated in this fun event to play in the exciting shooting game booth to win fabulous and festive prizes ranging from Easter eggs, HKUST souvenirs to various animal soft toys!
UG Get-Together - Lantern Festival and Welcome Back to School
On Feb 22, 2024, the 1st UG Get-Together in Spring 2024 was successfully held at the Karen Lee Center. Students had great fun playing the chopsticks game booth designed by the Peer Mentoring Committee and trying out various traditional Chinese dessert soups.
SIP and SIGN Latte Art Workshop
The INCLUSIVE Fall 2023 faculty and staff training workshop, SIP AND SIGN Latte Art Workshop, was successfully held on Dec 4, 2023 to foster bonding between Faculty, Staff and Student Peer Mentors through Latte Milk Art making and Sign Language teaching by hearing impaired baristas. Participants were able to explore different perspectives and cultures, while gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the hearing-impaired community's language and artistry.
UG Get-Together - Cheers for Exams
On Nov 29, 2023, the 3rd UG Get-Together in Fall 2023 became an exam cheering station for students at the Karen Lee Center and it was a tremendous success.
UG Get-Together - Happy Halloween
On Oct 31, over 250 students participated in the 2nd UG Get-Together to celebrate Halloween at Karen Lee Student Mentoring Center! Students had great fun playing at the game booth and capturing the precious moment at the photo booth.

The first UG Get-Together of the Fall 2023 semester was successfully held last week on Sept 28 to welcome Students ‘Back to School’ in the Karen Lee Student Mentoring Center!

Career Mentorship Program - Candle Making Workshop
Had a fantastic morning on Aug 5 at the candle making workshop for our career mentors and mentees. It was a great opportunity for everyone to unwind, get creative, and bond over a fun activity. Mosaic Art Workshop - May 10, 2023
The Spring 2023 faculty and staff training workshop was successfully held on May 10, 2023 at Mosaic Art Studio. At this workshop, participants learnt about cultural and sensory DIVERSITY. The studio provided an interesting talk on Turkish culture and participants all conducted an art in the dark task for a sensory experience and also learnt the concept of Universal Design.
Career Mentorship Program - Chinese Tea Appreciation Workshop
On Jan 14, career mentors and mentees gathered at the Chinese Tea Appreciation Workshops to discover the finer nuances of different flavors of tea, learn how to taste test a tea and get to brew premium tea using proper tools. They had an interactive, educational and hands-on experience to explore the art of tea in the workshops.

The recruitment of Peer Mentors for the Peer Mentoring Program (PMP) 2022-23 is from March 25 to April 13, 2022.
